Transport

The Royal Sands provides a private ferry boat service for our guests from Sihanoukville (we also offer private taxis and helicopter pickups to make your trip as convenient as possible).

We can arrange a round-trip transfer from Sihanoukville airport to our pier and then onto the island itself. Alternatively, we can pick you up directly from our pier, located inside Sihanoukville Port Gate 1.

The ferry trip will take approximately 40 minutes in total and is direct to our resort (see timetable below).

All passengers will be welcomed by our staff at The Royal Sands’ private lounge, located inside Sihanoukville Port Gate 1.

The ferry boat schedule is subject to change without prior notice, depending on the weather conditions and incoming flight schedules from Siem Reap.

Please note that the green season from August to September can bring unpredictable sea conditions, so for your comfort and safety, some journeys may take longer.

Boat transportation is available for pick up and drop off at a surcharge of USD 40.00 net / person / way.
